21 February 2006.
Today... it had been eight months. At the end of a frustrating, long, and stinky shift... a bright-eyed figure found "Anthony", amongst the faint residue of fecal matter, blood, and chaos.... He wanted to shake my hand.
But first an introduction... people often ask me, what was the craziest thing you ever saw in the ER?... I can never remember these cases for some reason... though the degree of absurdity should clearly supply a plethora of suitable vignettes...
Here in these words, instead... I would like
Imagine an endless horizon of stones...
infinite forms, colors, radiance, age, beauty...
A figure walks the anfractuous landscape
subtle but sincere understanding
amidst the vast Earthbed of rock
the figure scrambles past dust,
a sharp edged walk
darkness and boundless unknown
occasionally pausing,
rest and reflecting
kiss and connecting
then into the infinite Earthly range
stones of unwonted sort
points of transition
connected to
this viscoelastic milieu
the matrix of life
distinct from the random debris
comprised of the figure
and all other life
elementary range and domain
wheatfield and grain
with each revolution up s
The rain won't stop today.
Around me is grey... too cold for Spring...
But I like my voice as I sing...
I feel lazy, sleepy kinda blue,
and ruffled of melody you.
I saw your words and sharpie tattoo,
they layer me
as sunless valley dew.
magic princess tales,
instruction and mission...
angst... convolutes to this sweet fruition
and I.... I watch the zag zig of water drip
tea grip
love sip

Hey there fellow Viroquaean. We never found the gun, tho I just heard they may have recovered it at the time of the murder. Going to visit the historical museum to get more facts. See you 'round town! Tony
